Some on board action from the Glenelg Gulf Race 27th November 2021. The sea breeze built to 25-30 knots which made things pretty lively for most of the race.

Short clip of the women’s helm race on 2th November in almost ideal conditions for us.
CYCSA/RSAYS Inshore Race 20th Nov 2021
11 min video of some of the more interesting bits of the CYCSA/RSAYS Inshore Race Nov 20th 2021 – one of the most interesting races for a long time! There were at least five windshifts of 45-180 degrees, and windspeed went up and down between 0 and 12 knots like a yo-yo.
This made for hard work for everyone – it was like starting a new race after each windshift.
At the last reset not far from the finish, Shining Sea (who had sailed a great first part of the race), Crosshair, Venom or Carbon Credit could all have taken line honours – but Carbon Credit just hung on to take top spot.
Watch to the end for some slo-mo excitement! 😀😀😀
CYSA Twilight Race 10th November 2021
A 7 min video of last night’s CYCSA Twilight race, with some shots of most of the Div 1 boats. After a total debacle of a start (apologies to those who had to avoid us in irons on the start line and to the crew of the start boat), we had a lot of catching up to do. Thankfully the breeze was up at times, we picked a few good shifts, and had the boat going fast on the reaching legs as well. Any advice on how to see where you are going when driving at 20 knots into a wall of spray lit by the setting sun directly in your eyes would be most appreciated……….
