43. Competitor clothing and equipment. 43.2 Rule 43.1(b) (total clothing and equipment weight) does not apply to boats required to be equipped with lifelines.

Safety tip of the day

If you need to wear glasses to be able to see properly, make sure they are tied to your head if you have to abandon ship.
