Racing rules of sailing

26. Races shall be started by using the following signals. Times shall be taken from the visual signals; the absence of a sound signal shall be disregarded.

Safety tip of the day

When jumping into the water, step away from the boat and leave your legs spread front and back. This keeps you away from the hull of the boat and reduces the distance you will go into the water.
