5 min highlights from the first part of the race. Had an unexpectedly nice reach down to about Brighton before the wind died, letting everyone else catch up. Light upwind conditions against a strong tide made it slow going to Snapper Point, but at least we had consistent wind all the way home – unlike some.

Highlights from last night’s CYCSA Twilight Race. The Cunningham broke just before the start so we weren’t set up right at the start. That and missing the middle tiller made boat handling more challenging so we didn’t really make the most of the very favourable conditions for us.
